The United Spokane Avalanche is a competitive organization that was created to provide athletes with the opportunity to learn and refine their baseball skills in a supportive, structured environment, fostering both athletic growth and personal confidence. To teach important life lessons through baseball, such as teamwork, perseverance, accountability, and respect, helping players grow as individuals on and off the field.  To create an environment where players work together to achieve common goals, learning the importance of communication, cooperation, and mutual support in team setting.  To ensure that every player has fun while learning the game, cultivating a love for the sport and promoting healthy competition and sportsmanship.  To encourage active, healthy lifestyles by promoting physical fitness through baseball, helping players develop strength, coordination, and agility.  To unite young athletes, families, and the local community through the shared love of baseball, building lasting friendships and a strong sense of belonging.  To empower players with the confidence to excel, both on and off the field and in their personal lives, while developing leadership skills through game participation and teamwork.  To emphasize the importance of continuous improvement, resilience, and the value of hard work, teaching players that success is a result of dedication and a positive attitude towards learning. To ensure that all children, regardless of their family’s financial situation, can play youth baseball.  A sport we all love.

The United Spokane Avalanche is a part of the Spokane Indians Youth Baseball (SIYB) league, and will adhere to all rules and regulations provided by the league. We also compete in tournaments not only sponsored by SIYB, but also that have some traveling each season.
